Nagpur: Day 2 of Advantage Vidarbha 2026 – Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav in Nagpur marked a significant milestone with the signing of three major Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), reinforcing Vidarbha’s position as an emerging investment destination.
Envisioned by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, the agreements are expected to generate over 6,000 employment opportunities while strengthening regional industrial growth.
Advantage Vidarbha 2026: Investments in Clean Energy, Manufacturing, and Healthcare
At Advantage Vidarbha 2026, Galaxy Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. signed a MoU with the Government of Maharashtra to invest ₹10,080 crore in establishing an Integrated Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Manufacturing Plant in Nagpur district.
Infrastructure company G R Infraprojects Limited also signed a ₹200 crore MoU to set up a Tower Manufacturing Plant in Nagpur, further expanding the region’s manufacturing ecosystem.
In the healthcare sector, M/s Quality CARE India Ltd. (Care Group) partnered with Maha-Metro to develop a 350+ bed multi-speciality hospital near Kasturchand Park Metro Station under the PPP model, with an investment exceeding ₹600 crore.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari extended heartfelt thanks to industry partners and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for enabling these partnerships.
He stated that these initiatives will catalyse 6000+ employment opportunities, accelerate infrastructure expansion, and strengthen regional supply chains, marking a decisive step toward clean energy leadership, advanced manufacturing, and world-class urban healthcare in Vidarbha.
